Legal Aid to Survivors of the Armed Conflict

For the past six months, EUCCI’s lawyers have been representing dozens of victims of crimes in courts and vis-à-vis law enforcement. This way we facilitate the processes of investigation and litigation and help making them more efficient and just.

Additionally, we have represented victims in civil and administrative cases, helping them to restore violated civil rights or to amend illegal decisions of the authorities.

During this time, lawyers and attorneys of EUCCI have taken part in several dozen court hearings supporting witnesses of human rights violations. The majority of them took part in courts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

EUCCI gives around 20 verbal and written legal consultations each month.

We constantly learn the practice and problems and investigation of crimes committed during the armed conflict in Donbas in order to find the ways to improve efficiency of such investigations.
