On behalf of the Coalition "Justice for Peace in Donbass" we invite you to take part in the discussion "Life after captivity: the actions of the state and NGOs".
The discussion in round table format will take place on October 2, 2018 at 11:30 in Ukrinform press center (B. Khmelnitsky Str., 8/16, room 2).
The participants of the event plan to discuss the next issues:
Do law enforcement agencies investigate crimes committed in the occupied territories?
Does the Ukrainian government provide assistance to captives released from illegal places of detention?
What is the legal status of those released from captivity?
How can they adapt to peaceful life, where people sometimes do not know what the war is?
During the discussion, the report "Under the bars of the “LPR Government” building" will be presented by the organizers. The stories of 19 people can let us to know about the place of detention - the center of terror and torture in "LPR" area.
