Human rights activists of the Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiatives have prepared a report "On the edge" on respect of human rights and international humanitarian law in Shyrokine village, Donetsk region. The study covers entire period of the armed confrontation in Donbass since 2014. The report is based on interviews of victims, experts, government officials, official information from government agencies and open source data

 On December 11, within human rights unConference the Ukrainian network of women, who faced sexual violence during the war in the eastern Ukraine and the Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiatives held presentation – the discussion on "How women who faced sexual violence fight for justice: the experience of the Balkans and Ukraine".

Since the last December 10, Human Rights Day, everyone may watch for free an English version of the film "Fragile Freedom" about prisoners of the "LNR". This film was made by Babylon`13 Cinematographers Association and DocNoteFilms studio with support from the Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiatives.

A public discussion “What does ‘restoration of justice’ mean for women and girls affected by the armed conflict?” took place in Mariupol on May 30.

On May 30, 2018, the Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiatives, within the framework of activities of the Justice for Peace in the Donbass Coalition, with the support of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy, organizes a public discussion in Mariupol on "Restoring Justice for Women and Girls, who suffered an armed conflict in eastern Ukraine".

On Friday, 1st December the Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre held presentation event of analytics report titled “War without Rules: Gender-Based Violence in the Context of the Armed Conflict in Eastern Ukraine”. During the presentation, the authors of the report revealed that there are over twenty places of illegal detention on the temporarily occupied territory. People who happened to be detained systematically and purposefully went through gender, namely sexual, violence.
