On 10 September, human rights activists from the “Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiative” and their partners presented a research book “Unclear Clarities: Myths and Stereotypes Around the War and Donbas” and discussed the recent past and future of the region.

Hybrid Methods of Russia’s Armed Conflicts Using the Example of the First Occupied City of Donbas Were Discussed in Gdańsk, Poland
The “Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiative” in cooperation with the Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics presented the book ‘The City Where the War Began’ in Gdańsk, Poland. The events took place at the University of Gdańsk and the Ukrainian Library of the city.

The Travelling Exhibition “On the Rift” Visited the 50th City
On 5 April, in Kaniv Community Centre, Cherkasy oblast, NGO “Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiative” presented the travelling exhibition “On the Rift”. The exhibition has been travelling around Ukraine since June 2019, and Kaniv became the 50th city it visited.

A Book about the First Occupied City of Eastern Ukraine Was Presented in Slovakia
On 21–22 November, human rights activists of the “Eastern Ukrainian Center for Civic Initiative” presented the book ‘The City Where the War Began’ and discussed the Russian-Ukrainian war in Slovakia.  The events were held at the Educational Centre of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and for high school students at the Bilingual Secondary School Evangelical United School in Martin.
